art is very interesting in china. all of mainstream chinese art is replication. repeat what’s been done and repeat it well. to find actual art made from thought, feelings, emotions and the search for the misunderstood and understood, you have to crawl back in alleyways to find it. these artists are true revolutionaries. they are studying western art and falling apart at the creativity. they love it and are thinking outside of the box the government has created. these people usually change studios every few months to stay away off the radar. very cool.

great time to try the macro settings on the camera

for some reason i’m obsesssed with doing this after a few too many drinks. try it sometime.. drink a lot of beer, go to a bar (if you aren’t already at one) and just put your camera on the table and take pictures. it provides for an interesting perspective..

apparently this says “get your degree now” and has numbers for people to call and get fake degrees. i just thought it was an interesting shot =)
